Talos principle vs portal 212/11/2023 ![]() ![]() The viewfinder allows you to get a better look at the speck on the moon, which is revealed to be Wheatley from Portal 2 staring back at you, in reference to that game's ending where Spoiler: Wheatley is sucked into a portal on the surface of the moon. The backstory is interesting and certainly has depth, but the puzzles are just a. ![]() You move between zones and solve puzzles by. In Talos you can do some exploring, but like the previous poster implied, the emphasis is on solving well-contained (and mostly not particularly difficult, if youre a Myst veteran -)) puzzles. The Talos Principle 2 is a puzzle game where you explore and unravel the mystery of a futuristic robot society. After returning to the other side of the wall, use the far-most fan to launch yourself onto the arches to the left, and then maneuver your way to a viewfinder that is unlocked by the small key. The Myst series is all about exploring, which offers its own reward. One thing that The Witness has that Talos and Portal 2 dont with the latter 2, you feel like you are solving puzzle after puzzle, with the narrative carrying you forward. The colors do switch, but the LED discs I used don’t have the strongest orange filter so I usually keep it on blue.
